At about the 6 minute mark, he answers a question of the QB competition. DB says the coaching staff was hoping that one of the three would emerge during Spring practice, but none of them were consistent. Looking good one day, throwing picks the next. He's hoping one of them decides to step up and be consistent and a leader.

Seems to sum up DB's coaching philosophy as I understand it.

Maybe he needs to bring in Gritman as a volunteer coach.

LaRocca was recruited by Goldsmith, so he wasn't a wishbone QB. When Hatfield came in, there was some discussion as to whether we could run the option effectively with LaRocca.

Pro experience consisted of two seasons of stats in the World League (NFL overseas summer league) in 97 and 98.
