There is also a difference in ticket price from Left Field to Right Field, especially with the bleacher seats. There is also a larger percentage of seats in left field vs. Bearcat Lair.

This. The sound system is atrocious. I've sat all over the Stadium and there's no place where the acoustics are good enough for me to understand the announcer more than half the time.

I like scoreboards that just show the time, down, distance, timeouts remaining, and the score. I went to a Reds game once where they turned the scoreboard and music off (the only sound was an organ playing). It was the best stadium experience I've ever been to.

Saw it mentioned on Twitter that FCC's semifinal game was supposed to be this weekend but may have been moved because of the scoreboard being installed. Not sure why there is so much secrecy around this. Fans would love to hear about it, seems UC would be screaming it from the mountain tops if it were actually happening.

I agree. However, Tommy G confirmed it, and then Chad over at the Lair confirmed it is indeed happening while the team is at camp higher ground.

I think the uncertainty of it happening was the cause for the secrecy before, but now that it's going forward I agree that the continued silence is... bizarre. No one even knows what it's going to look like. No renderings.

not worried about how it looks.. if it is newer and I would assume it won't be smaller.. then all good imo

There should be a press release today .

Somethings aren't officially a 100% go until the last technical and logistic detail is ironed out. I think the timing became an issue with the Lamar Cup . They got the game pushed back to the 15th from the 9th to complete installation

We were told in February there would be a new scoreboard before the football season and so it is .
