Coastal Fans
Hi Coastal fans, Is Coastalfans.com your main forum? If so please put in a good word as the site admin has not approved Steve1981.
PS. In 5 weeks, you'll have an early look against us versus Hawaii.

Consider it done!
Also, I think only one guy gave TBD a hard time. He just likes to stir the pot at times.

Thanks rokamortis. Most of our fans hold you in high respects as being a premier FCS. There are a few jokers and dooms day posters as well. UMasshoops.com is very hard to get approval as Mike started the site many decades ago.

Quote:I've said this before, but this game really scares me. If anyone thinks we will just overwhelm them with ability your greatly mistaken. They've been a top FCS program for a long time and they certainly are t scared of us. I guarantee they view this game as one of the most winnable games on their schedule and would be huge win for the program being that it's their first in FBS. It's their opener and their coaches have had all offseason to prepare. In other words, they will throw things at us we will not be prepared for after having a look at what we've got from the Hawaii film. Our biggest advantage will be being able to work out the kinks in our first game.
The http://umass.247sports.com/Board/UMass-M...orum-59480 site is open, more football orientated with less traffic.

That guy had me laughing. I would have taken the troll bait and debated him but I'm not trying to take over y'all's board with that.

TrueBlue,
I appreciate your suggestions you gave me on the CoastalFans site. I stayed at the Marriott Riverfront so got to take in what River St and City Market had to offer. It was nice but they were doing a lot of work on the hotel which was badly needed. I made it to Six Pence Pub, Pinkhouse (downstairs only), The Pirates House, Vic's on the River, and a few other watering hole's I couldn't remember the names of... We spent Thursday at Tybee Island and had a blast. Savannah is great and welcoming compared to the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach that I'm used to. I think I'm still hungover from the trip, but we had a blast. Those guys that gave you lip on the site are always arguing something. One argued that we shouldn't go FBS... He'd argue with a stop sign, so pay it no attention because most of us don't either. fwiw, I enjoyed your post.

I'm so glad to hear it! Pinkhouse is great too! Forgot about that one. Looking forward to my return trip to Conway/Myrtle Beach in December!

Like any forum, we have our share of folks who would rather be left alone than deal with opposing fans. Besides, coming from the Big South, there was really only one other super active fan community - and it belonged to our rival, so of course they weren't going to visit very much.
Y'all come by and visit. We're an alright bunch once you get to know us,
