While I am concerned about the break, and lack of continuity from the previous coaching staff, I am confident Lester will keep WMU a contender in November. I like the man and am pleased he is our head coach.

He's recruiting well, he hired some great assistants, he loves this university and this town...I think we can expect great things out of Coach Lester.

Seeing the current Gazette has less content than a Weekly Reader, has one sports reporter instead of 3, can't keep any of them, and barely covers Western. So yeah, compared to now it was the golden era.

That article got picked up by the Lansing State Journal. With last years success and WMU being on State's schedule I'm guessing a few more of the more feature type articles will get picked up in Lansing. Nice exposure in the middle of the state.
