That's close to what Fedora got when he left us for UNC. He got a 7 year deal as UNC was either serving our about to serve sanctions so the first 2 years or so was a pass. He is about to begin year 6 and has already had his contract extended twice with the most recent extension happening in May which has him under contract through 2022. Considering he was making a base pay of $650k with bonuses that could get it right under $900k at USM, he made the best of his move as his newest contract with UNC pays him a base of $2.29 million and then just over $3 million in 2022.
