In all seriousness I doubt they hire a coach this season with fall camps about to open it's probably too late. They will let the intern run things and look for a new coach during the season.

It's insane how it keeps happening but just speaks to how good your program has been, the oddsmakers are apparently quite high on Anderson:

I'm some crazy future where ole miss tries for another astate coach, there would be people in Jonesboro who would push hard for freeze to get the job here again. He remains popular here in some circles.

Thankfully Mohajir is much smarter than that.

I'd hire malzahn back in a heartbeat though

Wasn't Hugh Freeze the coach at Arky State when Semenhole Injun started beating the drum about Arky State getting talent like had never been seen in the existence of the Sun Belt?

Yeah but he only signed one class (he wasn't even hired as OC until after signing day) and most of them were guys Roberts was already recruiting.

Steve could recruit. He just couldn't get results. Steve's 2008 class had two NFL guys, at least one lock for Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame and AState's Ring of Honor, and a fourth who will join them in the AState Hall of Honor.

A couple of SBC coaches on the list, if already not discussed.
