I voted for Trump. But the wall is a waste of money. It will end up being a huge boondoggle. That will be poorly funded and never completed.

however, let's view the bigger economic pic.....

1. keeping a campaign promise has merit

2. ANY infrastructure support is a positive

I would easily do it differently from an engineering perspective (posted many a thought on this when DJT made it part of his agenda 2 years ago)

however,, it doesn't matter in the big pic schema how it's done.......just that it's done.....

Homeland Security officials said the prototypes would be added to the existing border walls in San Diego and would allow the agency to evaluate which barriers are most effective in giving Border Patrol agents time to respond to illegal drugs and human smuggling.
