I had just assumed that people understood that.

More like they moved the donors (parking in cars) closer to the CPC hallway which will give them a heated/cooled walk half the time with an opportunity for nice indoor bathrooms and viewing the Gem facility of NIU Athletics before they get into the stadium.

And miss the opportunity to drain the hose in the venerable and hallowed (albeit malodorous) Huskie Stadium urinal troughs? C'mon now!! 04-jawdrop

Is there more than one trough at Huskie Stadium? The only one I use is in the northeast corner. The sad point is, I think of Dog Fan every time when I am standing there. Is that the famous Dog Fan on my left or right?

Look down next time. Most likely, I'm on the floor looking up at you. Better and more interesting views that way. 04-jawdrop 02-13-banana

That's if the Chessick shortcut is open for the public to walk thru. My wife and I quit going that way (we have Eastside donor parking) b/c we were denied access inside in the past.

Long lines at huskie bathrooms is good. It means refreshments probably didn't run out

The Navy's newest, most sophisticated aircraft carrier doesn't have urinals (or troughs)!

The story states:
SF has said getting rid of urinals has advantages for current and future games.
Making every bathroom accessible to all of the fans will make things more convenient for fans, the AD has said. And bathrooms that can be used by either gender mean that SF can reassign them without making any design changes, should the fans makeup change.

Thank, God!!! Unisex bathrooms for everyone! My dream has finally come true! The only thing better for me would be to keep the urinal troughs as a unisex bathroom and make the ladies use it. I already have my application in for bathroom attendant! 02-13-banana 03-cloud9

It is open MOST game days...The only time I know that athletics doesn't like people walking thru is when its their main recruit attending game day.

To add to that this years MACtions games "The Yard" will be IN the CPC rather than the West grass lot.

Entrance to the Chessick is allowed 1 hour before game time

good point, The only interesting home game is the opener and its late on a weekday so even that not going to happen for my family. Can't keep the 16 month old out that late.

Ya my 3 kids typically go to bed at 8:30pm during the school year so if they show up at all it will be just to tailgate then I will have the wife take them home at 8pm.

I don't really drink that much (average 4 beers a year) but thanks for planting that seed.

I like to actually spend time with her, so I'd rather stay with her than leave her. As for other watching her, my relatives are all dead, the inlaws in another state. Things like this aren't an issue when games are on Saturdays.

Although it was not necessary for you to defend your answer, kudos Calvin12 for injecting reality into the equation. With all due respect, cagy, perhaps the administration (past, present and future) need to at least consider everyone's opinion and perspective. Take a household with two young ones and deal with the economics of hiring a babysitter or imposing on a relative versus buying four tickets, paying for parking, buying concessions to keep the kids happy, making bathroom trips with those kids, dealing with their fatigue or discomfort if conditions are less than ideal, versus not attending at all, particularly when it's a weeknight. So what's the best solution to that puzzle?
