Look How Far ETSU Has Come in 5 Years...
Look back at some of these old threads from just 5 short years ago:

http://csnbbs.com/thread-584121.html

http://csnbbs.com/thread-545389.html

In that time ETSU went from not even the prospect of bringing back football to a brand new outdoor stadium. I don't think many of us thought 5 years ago that it would happen but here we are. Feels good to be a real university again.

I, for one, stand corrected -- and am so glad for it. I was most discouraged then because of what the Stanton-Mullins regime had done. This new administration is amazing -- especially from the hole they had to first dig out of. GO BUCS!

Noland had many doubters when he first came on board, and even a year into his tenure. There was much weeping and gnashing of teeth when he didn't immediately can Mullins & Bartow, announce a return to the SOCON, and the return of football. He wisely assessed the situation, massaged the different factions around ETSU, THEN set things right.

I don't think anyone could have predicted how quickly and efficiently Noland, and by extension Dr. Sander, would correct the mistakes of the previous administration and get ETSU onto the right path. Hell I remember the complaints even when Dr. Sander came on board since he hadn't presided over a football school. The thought was that he would be as much a deterrent to the return of football as an asset.

I totally agree to the last post. Unbelieveable events have taken place for the betterment of ETSU in academics, athletics, campus beautification, student involvement, plus many other things in the near future, such as the Fine Arts Center and the renovation of D.P.Culp Center.

IMO, someone has dropped the ball concerning the official ETSU 'Game Time' app. This is the app for all sports news, schedules, game times, team rosters, etc.

With the new football stadium and season opening game Sept. 2nd, you would think the 'Game Time' app would have all pertinent information about the new era in football, but it doesn't. The information is outdated. Under the heading of Schedule, Gameday Central, Parking Info, Shuttle and FAQS, the info refers to last years schedule and info for Kermit Tipton Stadium.

The 'Game Time" app is the app for everything concerning ETSU sports, especially for alumni, fans or anyone interested in ETSU sports that do not live in the immediate area. Locals at least have the media for info but they too need the info that is supposed to be accessible on 'Game Time' app.

Someone needs to get on the ball and update the 'Game Time' app immediately.

I agree. I would like to see the Gametime app updated as well as the football website. Again the local media may be telling JC folks everyrhing they need to know, but in the Knoxville area we are limited. I follow football on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and snapchat plus look at the livestream 7 days a week, multiple times a day to keep up with the stadium, and I have a son on the team. We are starving for information about Buc football, and I wish someone would post alot more updates. The Knoville area has several players on the team, and not everybody cares for that team in orange. I am 100% Buc, and would love to get more information. I mean anything helps. One good way to build a fanbase is to build it by pouring out information. Hype it up, I would enjoy it, and a few more people may just jump on board.
