I dont think it's a reach or looking through Blue glasses to think that he was committing. If it wasnt a committment then what was it? What was the point of the tweet? My guess is he did commit but someone else told him to slow his role and wait a little more

Alabama leads his recruitment. It was just an edit. I am not really cool with it because he wants to go an SEC school and rep the 901 from Tuscaloosa or Knoxville. It's just good exposure nonetheless for us for high level Memphis kids. Slowly making it cool to rep the Memphis Tigers for these high level Memphis players. Hopefully we can break the "Have to go to the SEC" mentality for some of them.

Meanwhile I am cool getting high level commits from outside the city.

He never committed.

Granted, it was a weird tweet. And then people ran with it. But he never used the word "commit" at all. Didn't thank God and the others schools that recruited him. Didn't change his profile to committed or his avatar, which the guys almost always do these days.

Also, his pinned tweet says he just cut down this list to 10 last month. Would be very unusual for a recruit of his stature considering that many schools to not take his fall, home-game visits.

whatever he does, I'm not calling him "your majesty".
