The MAC is not going to trade Ford Field for that rust bucket that is Canton's stadium.

It is probably just a money saver move with Canton.

There is construction at Ford Field.
MAC has already said they'll be back there in 2018.

Oh if it's a oneoff, that's no big deal. Prefer home venue of best MAC record though.

Canton looks to have major renovation plans?

Would still prefer a Mac team home venue if we have to be outside...

The MAC Championship game will be played at Ford Field this year and through at least 2019. The only event that has been changed is the MAC Media Day next week which will be held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame due to construction this summer at Ford Field in the suite areas where the Media Day is usually held.

Thanks huskie info for the clarification

. Please pass onto NIU athletics that the ESPN deal is in the process of completely destroying NiU athletics

You may be onto something here. Who would want to watch hours of boring MAC coaches and ESPN arse-kissing MAC administrators? Maybe they'll show a couple hours of PJ at Minnesota's spring game? Or PJ in the locker room? Or PJ bronzing his jock strap? Or PJ kissing the camera lens while telling everyone how great life and Minneapolis are?

Yes. I meant "ESPN arse-kissing" as an adjective modifying "MAC administrators".
