RE: Lester's First Quality Win?
I predict Lester's first quality win in his first year will be Norfolk State. We play them, right? 03-drunk

RE: Lester's First Quality Win?
It's hard to say, as the year itself will tell how good some teams are or aren't. With that said, I'd say Either Way, a win @MSU -- even last year's MSU -- would be a quality win. A reasonable assumption would be seeing a 5-7 to 7-5 MSU team this year... and it's IN East Lansing. They went down to the wire against Ohio State, had a close one against UM, and had other close ones, but were in disarray with injuries and gelling in general. I see this year as being at least a little better -- but not much more than a little either, as far as what one can reasonably expect.

Idaho could be one. I think it'll be a real test to see how our program is, being most likely 0-2 at that point. But again, Idaho could turn to be not so good, on their path back to D1AA. If they aren't an 8W team this year, then I'd say we'd have to wait until:

Oct 21: @EMU
Nov 1: CMU

We will win 1 of those, at least.

Yee of little faith.

We don't need a clown doing rowing motions on 3rd down, or racing down the sidelines between quarters, to win games. Develop a QB (which Peej would have had to do) and this team can EASILY win 9 games.

I have more faith in these coordinators than the ones that left with Fleck, and have far more faith in Lester's ability to develop a QB.

ChipDip Johnson is right! Except for his single-digit win total projection.

Phillip John the Baptist was the freak in the wilderness that got the media's attention. Tim Lester of Nazareth a college is the unassuming G5 messianic figure that will do great miracles and get us in the playoff. Of course, when he does what he came to do, the SEC Pharisees will have him executed. But we WILL be delivered from the establishment!! WE. WILL. REIGN!

Agreed we have a real quality offensive coordinator and a head coach that has been a head coach with a history of winning. Not to mention he knows the quarterback position as well as anyone. The rest of the staff have strong ties to WMU and are highly motivated because of it. Nine games is very doable for this team and its staff. I'm thinking we win 10.
