Big Sky Conference Channel is now on Pluto TV
Pluto TV which is a free conglomerate of channels now has Big Sky Conference channel. They are playing old football games right now.

Interesting that they have a channel and if they will be showing live games in the upcoming season.
Could be getting the Big Sky some extra $$ from the advertising. Going to be curious to see.

Sweet. We'll be on in Pluto. That's just a short trip to Uranus. This Big Sky deal just keeps getting better.

RE: Big Sky Conference Channel is now on Pluto TV
By the way, with Pluto TV now having channels showing programs from HGTV, Food Net and Travel channel. My family can survive with Netflix, Boomerang (separate subscription) and OTA. However, to watch most MW games I still need the PSVUE. Otherwise, the OTA broadcasts will suffice for my college football fix. If Stadium is upping its broadcast games and they show the MW games also, I may be able to live without PSVUE.

Big Sky Conference Channel is now on Pluto TV
I think in the future services like Pluto, Amazon, Netflix, etc. will start streaming live college football, especially G5. Schools and fans are getting sick of weeknight and late kickoff times and this is a way they can get coverage and have desired kick times.

Yep and they practically are available on any device or platform. I have watched these guys grow the past 6 years. I think there are at an inflection point now where they are going to exploded in viewership with the new channels they have added.
They are a cord cutters go to channel to really cutting the cord and have channels similar like cable. One thing about Pluto TV is that you can customize your channel lineup and only show the channels you want.

I received an email back from the Communications officer for the Big Sky.
Yes, they are going to show live games on thier Pluto TV channel as they are moving their Watch Big Sky platform to the channel.
Email below.

Hi xxxxxxx,

We will have some live content on there, as our WatchBigSky platform is moving there.

We also will have some archived content.

All the best,

Jon

RE: Big Sky Conference Channel is now on Pluto TV
Anyone know how top FCS teams do on ESPN3 vs G5 teams?

Idaho was fourth in the SBC during a down period playing against unfamiliar teams to fans.
I would think SDSU, NDSU and Montana would have a good digital following.
Having an updated press box is important joining Stadium would be nice along with Pluto.

In the mean time the CAA just moved it's championship game to CBS Sports Network as well as its semis. So, the semis go from widely available local channels and RSNs to a upper tier cable channel no one watches while our championship game in the past decade has gone from ESPN to NBC Sports network to CBS Sports Network.

I'm a little envious of the Big Sky

I love Pluto! It has a Mystery Science Theater 3000 channel!

Watched a little of Northern Arizona/Southern Utah football game this morning on this.

FWIW, the Southland Conference also has it's own app on Fire TV.

Never heard of Pluto TV but just downloaded it. Better than what some cable channels offer.

Between the BSC agreement with Root (now AT&T) and Pluto, should be able to cat a few more BSC games.

Never heard of Pluto TV. Sounds like cord-cutters have heard of it though, so we'll see if it survives after the massive wave of streaming service pay-TV in the coming years.

Hey, more power to the Big Sky. Better than the MVFC, which doesn't have any TV option as far as I know ... unless ESPN 3 counts, for some games.

For as much as I like to bash the BSC, it does some things right and the availability of its content via streaming is one of them. The BSCTV app/website weren't bad, but this PlutoTV thing (watched a FB game this weekend) is top notch. Easier to use via laptop than the old BSCTV website. Haven't tried it on a mobile app yet.

RE: Big Sky Conference Channel is now on Pluto TV
Big Sky also signed a deal with Eleven Sports:

http://goeags.com/news/2017/7/18/general...ports.aspx

The Big Sky Conference added another national television partner as the league announced a new affiliation with Eleven Sports on Tuesday (July 18) at the Big Sky Conference Football Kickoff in Park City, Utah. Eleven Sports will broadcast one football game of the week as well as one men's basketball game of the week beginning this fall.

"We're very pleased to partner with Eleven Sports," said Big Sky Conference commissioner, Andrea Williams. "This new partnership gives our fans unprecedented access to Big Sky Conference events throughout the year. Not only will our coverage of football and basketball increase, but soccer, volleyball and softball will also be broadcast nationally as well."

The network will also broadcast the quarterfinals and semifinals of the men's basketball championship as well as the women's basketball semifinals and championship game. The conference's women's soccer, volleyball and softball semifinals and championship games will also be televised on Eleven Sports.

All Eleven Sports productions will also be available on WatchBigSky.com and Pluto TV. The Big Sky will join world-renowned sports leagues such as the La Liga and the English Premier League as part of Eleven Sports' offerings. Eleven Sports is available on various Cable, Satellite, Telco, and OTT providers. Go to http://elevensportsusa.com/where-to-watch/ to find Eleven Sports in your area.
