I do think Caps have a pretty big advantage in that they're on somewhat normal schedule- off only 5 days. Vegas off a good 9 days. Caps might be able to steal home ice in game 1.

To me, the pregame show was pretty darn weird--and very Vegas.

What a game 1!! NBC could not have asked for more in game 1 for the casual fan who tuned in. So many major sports have taken many or all of their games off of over the airTVv, they leave developing significant new fan bases on the table. Glad some of these are on TV for the masses to sample.

Did not see game 2, but read there was an incredible stick save by the Wash goalie. Hope this one goes at least 6 if not 7.
At this point, would love to see Vegas win it all--just too good a story--and if so they'll probably be the last expansion team to go this far, as the rest of the sports world will have learned its lesson.

When the Raid3ers get to Vegas, those tickets will be among the most difficult to get in sports. Go Knights Go!

Seems a reasonable wager this Vegas-Washington Stanley Cup series is more entertaining than Cavs-Warriors IV in the NBA again.

IMO Holtby has gotten into Vegas players heads right now. trying to set up the perfect play....

I think this thing goes 7 whomever wins. But, I think with the Caps taking the game tonight they might have a better edge now.

It will be interesting to see what happens when they head back to Vegas.

The NHL doesn't have the guts to do it but McNabb should be suspended for Game 5 for that cross-check on Oshie face first into the boards. That is dirty and dangerous.

saw this is 13th time in Caps history up 3-1. Gone 7-5 in those series- never winning though a series that goes 7...

also saw tonight was 4th time this playoffs Caps scored 6 goals or more. most times anyone has done it in 20 years....

also only back in 1942 with Toronto coming back on Detroit did a team blow a 3-1 deficit(it was actually 3-0) in the cup finals.

Man I want the Caps to win in 5- otherwise the pressure would be 100% on the caps in game 6..

Wow, Caps looked awesome, Vegas looked disorganized and lacked energy...of course, if just two of those four shots that hit the posts go in, it's a huge momentum shift and Vegas might've ultimately prevailed. Not sure they should have left Fleury in the whole game either. rest him up for what is obviously a must win Thurs night and hopefully a few more after that. Have to be impressed with the Caps team right now, but boy, they got away with a lot of dirty play as well, especially on Vegas' reeves.

I have no rooting interest in this series but I am looking forward to game 5 and hopefully game 7. The Vegas pregame performance is awesome. I saw it for the first time on game 2 of the cup finals. Would you expect anything less from Las Vegas. Oh, and the games I have seen have been good too.
