Starting on July 28 through August 5, there's going to be an AAU Track & Field Junior Olympics competition at Rynearson. I know one girl that's competing in it because she's local to me, but it's also a good opportunity for coach Parks to recruit on our playground. Last weekend, the AAU Regional Heptathlon (where they compete in seven events) was at NIU.
If you're into that kind of stuff, or just want a lame excuse to go outside and enjoy Rynearson's track actually being used for once before it's gone, it might be something to enjoy.

As I have mentioned before, moving the track from inside Rynearson for football building project will make it impossible to do this again once the building project begins (and who knows when that will be).

This is a really good thing (AAU Junior Olympics) for EMU T&F.

I know one former EMU T&F athlete who competed in the jr. Olympics and later became an EMU athlete. First and only time she saw EMU before signing with us.
