Your analog is a perfect example of why I say BS to you. The players are imperfect human beings with a talent potential to play BB. Many things influence those impressionable young men which will determine ultimately their BB proficiency - so their eventual value to a team is very subjective. And yet you compare them to a machine that can be copied, mass produced and objectively measured. I couldn't have come up with a better comparison of the very subjective & complicated reality of college recruiting & the eventual team value of those recruits vs the statistical/mechanical means by which you attempt to declare winners & losers before recruits ever take a college court, receive coaching & play the games as a TEAM. Stammer, you have confirmed to all of us by your own words that you only have the capacity to reason when stats and rankings make the decisions. Yes a Porsche will beat a Honda Accord - but we are discussing human beings with the potential to play together as a team based upon how those collective individual & team skills come together.
