Landan is a transfer from UVA. He hails from Vienna and attended Bishop O'Connell HS. He started 2 games for the Wahoos a season ago. He should immediately compete for a starting role this fall. Landan's Dad is former ACC Player of the Year ('85), Barry Word, who had a nice NFL career with the KC Chiefs among others at running back.
