I see NIU more as a 5-7 to 6-6 team. Ceiling is 8 wins and floor is 3. Without any qb and same coaching staff deficiencies , it's hard to imagine a winning record. Unfortunately we are short in two of the most important areas qb and coaching

They won 5 games in the conference with a bunch of idiots playing QB and the same coaching staff last year. It's hard to foresee them winning less than 5 conference games.

Seriously. This rag-tag, QB-less NIU squad is 11-5 in Mac play the last two "oh so terrible, the wheels are falling off, Carey sucks" years. And those 5 loses? 1)13-1 WMU on road. 2) 9-4 Toledo neutral site, lost lead with 1:00 left in game. 3) double OT loss to CMU. 4) ohio by 5 after losing 3rd string QB to injury and a walk-on stepping in.5) CMU where we had 4 TOs

Agree with the 5-3 conference finish. And 1-3 in OOC puts us at 6-6, where I see us finishing.
