Doing nothing on health is not an option
Meanwhile, on important issues, not the ones the MSM dwells on like fake conspiracies and who got the 2nd scoop of ice cream:

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articl...34418.html

"...The ACA is teetering on the edge of total collapse. It’s not a matter of if, but when. Sticking with the status quo is no longer an option.
There is no perfect solution, but an immediate major overhaul of the healthcare system is needed if we want to preserve the quality of healthcare Americans have come to expect. The ACA has a lot of great benefits, but the key is including these perks without bankrupting the country...."

RE: Doing nothing on health is not an option
The Republicans need to back off repeal and offer to start completely over on creating a healtcare fix IF the Democrats will give up their insistence that it be based on the current failed Obamacare law. The Dems wont go for it---which means Obamacare can completely collapse. Once that happens, it will open the door for a Republican led healthcare vote that will get a few crossover moderate Democrat votes to pass.

A single line with the word repeal in it is the place to start. Gotta do that first. Tired of hearing all the flaming bs about doing something else. Repeal the damn thing. Then we can move on. Can't bring yourselves to repeal? Then leave the ******* thing alone to fail.

Recently heard the founder of Priceline expound on the need for a Priceline system so health care can be obtained by a bidding process. Priceline has made travel reservations so much less expensive. Used to work in corporations, where travel arrangements was so tedious. Would tie up two people for an hour and now just takes one person a couple minutes. Priceline has cut costs tremendously and made us all more efficient and hotels and airlines have never been happier as they have much higher loads at various pricing.

Obviously, Priceline would benefit greatly with such a system, but like in travel, there are other existing companies. Doctors and nurses rarely know what things cost and who gives a better cost. Health care insurance companies just sent you to their approved providers without regard to convenience or urgency. Some system like Priceline needs to be implemented throughout Healthcare so we have choices. If a cheaper healthcare option is a standby option for no-shows, if it's convenient and cheaper, like an x-ray or ultrasound, I'd take it.

That's an interesting idea.
