When it comes to things that are not constitutionally enumerated rights then I don't tend to care what another state does.entitlements they choose to and fund them in the manner which they feel works best.

But when you start to go down the path of putting into law things that violate rights, then I tend to care a bit.

Except you do. Otherwise why tell me, and others how little you care?

Someone asked a question, in bold above, I answered it (a part of that is in bold as well). Is that too hard for you to follow? Or was is the phrase "I don't tend to" that screwed you up?

I also don't care if it rains today, but if someone sayd "do you think it will rain today" I might look out the window and give my opinion.

It's ok, Defconn doesn't understand being intellectually curious.

Maybe not. What I do understand is if someone says they don't care about something, or someone, they're lying. If they truly didn't care, they'd keep it to themselves and not tell anyone.

So if I ask you about something for which you do not care you would just not say anything at all? That's kind of rude....

Also, cupcake, I did not say "I don't care at all" I said "I don't tend to care unless it's an enumerated constitutional right".... Is the right to bear arms enumerated in the constitution?

That's not rhetorical, I really want to know if you're aware of the 2nd or not

Free Abortions For Everyone Including Illegal Aliens; Oregon’s Dem Governor About To Sign Bill Into Law

Free abortions for all! This is where liberal madness brings us…

Quote:Elections have consequences.

Achieving a long sought after goal of the left, a woman’s right to free and unfettered abortions, Oregon’s Democratic Gov. Kate Brown will sign legislation accomplishing just that.

The bill represents a sweeping, unprecedented change in state law that will require insurers to provide free abortions to all residents, to include illegal immigrants, The Washington Times reported. No Republicans voted for the bill.

“The ability to control our bodies and make informed decisions about health are critical to providing all Oregonians the opportunity to achieve our full potential and live productive, thriving lives,” Brown explained in an email, according to The Times.

“Attempts to deny access to contraceptives and family planning are an attack on all Oregonians, particularly women of color, low-income and young women,” she added.

But there’s little truth to the liberal gobbledygook Brown is spouting, considering Oregon has the least-restrictive abortion laws in the nation.

All obviously doesn't include murdered babies.

there once was a saying, "as cali goes, so go the rest" (something like that)

well, that psyche is now at war.....'bout dayum time in relative terms....

disclaimer: I mostly lean left on social issues....however, the west coast is out of control relative to constitutional law.......

Because if it's allowed to stand in one state, fsquid... other states can then go in and say "it's legal there, so it's going to be approved here".

Because of the mentality behind it. Unfortunately its everywhere. Don't ever assume it cant come to your state. Stay vigilant.

That and as others have said this is a constitutional rights issue.

Agreed, Paul.. I'm a states' rights kind of conservative... but the 2nd amendment to the constitution doesn't fall under the 10th amendment

I understand the 2nd verse the 10th. I just see you guys destroying your ideology in the process. You guys don't endorse the philosophy of state's rights. You guys only try to limit it to a technicality. While that is the legal interpretation at the end of the day when you resort to stating something is only true because of a technicality then it's not something philosophical or self evident you then weaken the concept as a whole.
