Great Game 2. Grizz beat a Sacramento team that played seven 1st rounders from the past two drafts.

Wade: Wade’s box in Game 1 was decent, but he played poorly. He played much better in Game 2.

Jarell: Jarell seems the obvious choice to get traded, which means a future 2nd rounder, or even cut due to the roster crunch. I just know if we move him that he is going to figure it out and become a good rotation player. Springy 4’s with a soft jump shot don’t grow on trees. Hope we stick with him, and give him a consistent role.

DD: Keep reminding myself that he would be entering his Junior year in college this fall. DD needs time and reps, mostly in Southaven. I’m becoming more convinced we need to keep Brandan for the start of the season to let DD develop more. He’s an expiring contract, should have value at the trade deadline, especially if there are big man injuries to contenders next season.

Selden: Makes me smile. Buddy Hield was the 5th pick in the draft, and Wayne was undrafted. Is everyone positively sure that they would rather have Hield today, just a year later? Great job FO and coaching staff. He’s a keeper.
