Please pray for him.

Quote:House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., has been readmitted to the intensive care unit at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and is listed in “serious” condition after concerns emerged about possible infection as he continues recovery from a gunshot during practice for the Congressional Baseball Game on June 14.

“Congressman Steve Scalise has been readmitted to the Intensive Care Unit at MedStar Washington Hospital Center due to new concerns for infection,” the hospital said in a statement late Wednesday night. “His condition is listed as serious.”

Scalise had been upgraded to fair condition following several surgeries on June 21.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center added it would provide another update on Thursday.

College Prof Mocks Scalise Serious Health Update — ‘Good Thing’ He Has Insurance

You would think this lib would be more compassionate and caring about the news of Rep. Scalise's health update. No, it seems the hate on the left isn't satisfied with one of their own shooting him and him still fighting a tough battle. The hate on the left is out of control and growing.

Quote:Emory University professor Carol Anderson used news of Rep. Steve Scalise’s condition being downgraded to “serious” on Thursday night to mock the GOP’s health plan.

MedStar Washington said late Thursday that Scalise, who was shot during a GOP baseball practice three weeks ago, would be readmitted to the intensive care unit “due to new concerns for infection.” His condition has been downgraded from “fair” to “serious.”

Anderson, who teaches African American Studies at Emory University, used the update as an opportunity to rail against the GOP health care bill.

Absolutely. I got a staph infection somehow 10 years ago in my leg and luckily I went to a doctor right away (had to - pain was pretty bad). He told me if I had waited, it would have gotten much worse.

Everything is fine now as luckily the antibiotics worked perfectly but I still have scars and will have them on my leg the rest of my life.

I'm not sure how I got the stupid thing but it probably had to do with a cut on my leg that I didn't keep clean?
