Marin does not deserve it imo but the rest are on my list.

I don't agree with him being on the list, but it makes me wonder if another GCU player will get left off.

RE: MMM Top 25 Returning Players
The write up on Martin was a decent breakdown of his value to GCU. Peersonally though, I wouldn't put him in the Top 25 of returning WAC players, let alone Top 20. He is exceptional on defense, but it doesn't make up for his complete lack of offense. Martin may have played 75% of GCU's minutes, but only contributes on 12-16% of offensive plays.
If GCU is serious about contending for the conference title or tournament, they aren't going to get it done playing 4-on-5 on the offensive end. Martin needs to step it up or have a seat.

Menzies is way too low at 19. He should he higher than Zach Moore who presumably will be in the final 14 with Kavas

MMM Top 25 Returning Players
My roommates reaction to Zach Moore at #14 . He played against him in HS. Also relevant, he thinks innout is way over hyped.

I'll say this from being a walk on to scholarship player to 14th best returning player in the WAC is a big jump in a season of college ball.

To be fair, he did walk on his freshman year, but only played out of necessity

He shot 37% from 3 and averaged 10ppg last year (7 more than year before). This past season, he averaged 2ppg higher in conference play (11.3ppg) than non-conf play (9.4), including 33 points against UTRGV, That sounds like improvement in three years since HS. Ill take the numbers and watching him play over your roommate basing his collegiate skill off how he played in high school.
On a side note, he played in my HSs conference and watching him play at least 3 times in person in HS games vs him at Seattle U, its pretty clear he's gotten way better. The ranking is well deserved

My comment.....
...Oh seriously!? In-n-Out is legendary around here!
Currently mobile....away from the house or on the 'throne.'

I just returned from a 2 week vacation. We ate at In-N-Out 6 times. So you know where I stand on this.

RE: MMM Top 25 Returning Players
Zach Moore is streaky. If you look at his game logs he would go for 15-19 points in 3 to 4 games then disappear for 3-4 games. He drops 33 on UTRGV but games against Northwest U (NAIA) 0 points and the Dec 4th 2OT game against EWU 0 points Chicago st Jan 14th 0 points. He does seem to have a crap game against most WAC teams then have a above average to good game against them besides UVU where he doesnt match up well against their team and against UTRGV where he looks to own them last year.

He is streaky and inconsistent but the talent is there. Consistency will come with experience. Like Menzies, he went from liability on the court freshman year to one of SUs best players sophomore year

The list for numbers 10-6 is out. I think most of these guys are a bit high on the list, but that is just me. Btw, peep where reigning Freshman of the Year is and where Oscar Frayer is

Sweet you're back finally haha. Durham at 6 is definitely low imo. Dixon over him is a crime and Durham means way more to the team than Jemerrio Jones. Top 3 imo should be Durham, Chuha and Braun in any order.
I think the only guarantees are Chuha and Braun. I honestly don't know who else will make the list.
Great to be back. It was easier to create a new account than get the old one reactivated.
