RE: Basketball scheduling news
thanks for posting Beag.....some of us still like hoops....

am curious about puting MICH on the schedule.....is that due to pressure having a weak OOC/his ties with the bigs when he was a NEB coach, or does Doc know the transfers that sat out last year and the relief of being out of the sanction abyss allow him to have more flexibility scheduling a high profile team?

maybe a combination of the two??? or is it just money???

so many ways to look at that one....

regardless, I'm looking forward to watching this year's team.....IMO, it will be the first chance to see what Doc has in the tank......I'm one of the few that has pulled for him once he arrived.....he got ******....and not renewing the expected 1 yr extension was a ***** move by our admin.....

99% sure it's just money. Like Florida State last year and Memphis the year before. We'll play 1 or 2 of these most years. Make some quick cash and it's more interesting than playing Podunk State at home anyway.

I'm with you on everything but the non-extension. No harm in letting him know the free pass is over. If he starts putting together something worthwhile, he can always be extended afterward.
