wasn't fred brown high off his ass?
Honestly, no idea. Who knows.

I will say that Fred Brown played a vital role in helping G'town win the NC as a senior in '84. I think that even a lot of non-Hoya fans enjoyed seeing him achieve that kind of redemption.

I'd be curious to know how things have turned out for him these past 33+ years.

the most heart breaking for me is easy...Cincy @ Memphis in 2001.

Memphis is 5-5 and hasn't been to a bowl game in decades. New Orleans bowl has already said if we beat Cincy they will offer us the bowl bid.

Memphis is up 34-29 and it's late in the 4th. The Memphis D has Cincy 4th and 27. All we have to do is stop em and we're bowling.

Cincy throws a 36 yard completion and then marches down the field and scores to beat us...FML! lol

UCLA @ Tennessee football in Memphis c. '65 or '66. I was a kid selling programs and got in free of course. Great game.
I was at that game also. My father was a huge UT fan and he and I went. I remember it very well.

Dewey Warren VS Gary Beban. Memphis native Tommy Protho was HC of the Bruins and didn't like how the officials called the game and stated "I'm ashamed to be a southerner" after the game.

Last game of the regular season with UCLA going to the Rose Bowl and UT was going to the Bluebonnet Bowl, so that game was given the "RoseBonnet Bowl" name.

The swamp rat. Great nickname right there.

This was posted on the SMU fan board. #4 SMU vs. #19 Texas in 1982 at Austin called by Keith Jackson. I was too young to go or care but some call it the greatest game in Southwest Conference history.

You will be happy to know that Gino the qb is on staff this year. Do not know what happened to Olinger.

Game wasn't on TV in Cincinnati, but I remember listening to it on the radio and going nuts at the end. The 4th and 27 play was such an OMG moment. The TD pass was from something like the 15 yard line with 4 seconds to play. Also to Johnny O
