Matt Tennyson signed with Buffalo and Jordan Oesterle signed with Chicago yesterday. Our 2011-2012 squad had so many good defensemen on it, DeKeyser, Witkowski, Tennyson and Oesterle. All 4 could be playing in the show this season at some point.
I'd rather not see Witkowski on D for the Wings, they have many more younger and talented options that need to get some ice time. His flexibility to be moved up to wing could make for an interesting guy in a 4th line role. That being said I wouldn't want to see that happen if it means Bertuzzi is a healthy scratch!
