03-lmfao Good one, Pony

I think you mean your entire O-line shut Oliver down... No one player can stop Oliver... C'mon you know this already.

03-lmfao Let me know when Memphis plays football

Basketball is yall's favorite sport, perhaps you should feel confident going into that instead. Hehe

Just saying I feel good about our football team. Hopefully our O will take care of business again against your D-Line

Never happened? what do you mean? Oliver was a non factor vs SMU. He got owned. Part of the reason we won by a gabillion. Not the only reason - but part of it. Might have also been Hermann was counting money instead of game planning, but i will leave that to you cougars to work through.

RE: Houston Ed Oliver ranked 4th best in the Country
I think its great that Oliver is getting national recognition. The fact that it is coming from objective sources makes it all the more noteworthy. Courtland Sutton (28) and Quinton Flowers (53) both also made SIs top 100 list, which is dominated by P5 players.

Oliver may become the greatest player of all time, but on October 22, 2016 he was a no show.

Oliver - 3 solo tackles, 1 TFL (4), 2 QBH, and he was credited with 1 forced fumble.

For comparison, SMUs DL against a vastly more mobile QB - Ward, and at least on paper, a more solid OL.

Jarvis Pruitt - 5 solo tackles, 3 sacks (14), 1 FR (0)
Demerick Gary - 2 solo tackles, 2 sacks (14)
Justin Lawler - 2 solo, 1 ast, 1.5 sacks (23)

I've seen highlights of other UH games, so I know Oliver is talented. SMU found a way to neutralize him, and won the battle in the trenches on both sides of the ball that day.

03-lmfao You Coogs got owned last year. Suck it up and be silent. Makes you look like idiots. But whatever.

Seems to me that is one of the best if not the best out there. Should be a fun year to watch him play.

Will Houston be able to stay within 20 points of SMU this year?

Our defense will be fine perhaps even better than last year, IMO... The offense however is somewhat mysterious, not sure what to expect from that side of the ball.

I tell you what too though, you better hope Oliver isn't 100% healthy when your ponies play Houston... not going to be pretty for your QB 03-lmfao

Again, see earlier post about Evan Brown.

James Proche will coming off a strong freshman campaign of 57 rec for 709 yes and 6 TDs.
Trey Quinn will be the 3rd WR. He is a LSU transfer that had 17 catches as a true freshman.
Raymond Epps will be our starting tight end who is a grad transfer from Arizona State.

Goodluck AAC secondaries.
