Two-QB System in 17?
I am forever optimistic regarding our Eagles in 2017. The more I think about a two-QB system (K2) the more I believe we can be successful. The last team to win a BCS Championship with a true two QB offense was LSU in 2007. Since we only need to win CUSA I think the task is more than manageable.

I am thankful for Nick and will miss his experience. Last year didn't provide us the edge a 4 year QB could bring to the table, probably more so due to the change in staff that messed with his confidence. I believe we can be better in 17, leveraging the unknown at QB as a key contributing factor to our success.

Game one will arguably be our best opponent all season. Kentucky will be better and looking for revenge for whatever that's worth. Our opponents will be looking to take away Ito and Payne and that's ok. I love that KH is mobile and can chew up 4 yards with his feet, building his confidence and extending series as the game progresses. I love that KG can utilize his size and stand tall in the pocket or use one of his two backs to open up the passing game. We don't have to beat Kentucky to have a great season but we certainly can use this game as a trial by fire to see how we can operate in a two-QB system.

Only the team and staff can tell you if this option is even on the table for 2017. It brings a new dynamic to an offense that could benefit from confusing our opponents, as long as it doesn't confuse us in the process.

regardless, if we can't spread it to run it, it won't mean diddly.....

somebody better learn how to read a defense and hit the open guy.....

I've seen nothing to date that tells me that's going to happen.....

I thought last year's team looked completely lost whenever Nick wasn't in the huddle, which is a bit scary.

Our QBs are going to be a disaster. I'll put the over/under for turnovers the first game at 4. Any takers on the under? Doubt it.
