We should let the good people of Chicagoland that EMU is about $3K cheaper per year than NIU and about $6k less than UI-Chicago.

Dear EagleTough,
WOW! The people on the Northern Illinois blog have been complaining about what may happen, but after reading those two articles, they (the people of Illinois) are in big financial trouble. That is putting it mildly. My question would be, what would happen to the MAC, if Northern was forced to shut down?

The school isn't going to shut down, but I feel bad for anyone associated with the football program until this nonsense gets resolved. The specific reason they had to pick up that FSU beatdown game for next year were these fiscal problems. Next you'll be hearing more and more screams from administrators, profs, students, etc. about the wasteful spending on athletics (particularly football) during times of severe cutbacks.

Most capital improvements.....forget about it.
