Apparently, a lot of you still think Benford is the hc at NT. With 4 top 100 jucos coming in among a host of others, NT will definitely be a different club.

NT won't be close to the top, but neither will they be close to the bottom as many predict.

We wont know if Middle would have got a at large bid last year...they didn't need it.

You can't just look at the 12 seed and the 11 seed play in games and go by that. With the way it's set up the 12 seed is actually the better seed because they don't need to play a 1st round game.

The two 11 seeds that did not have to play a 1st round game were better than Middle's 12. But that just tells me Middle would have most likely replace one of the 11 seed play in if they loss in the CUSA tourney

Based on the way the did the seeding we would not have gotten in. Now that they seed all 68 teams chronologically it gives a sense of how the committee viewed each team. They had MT at 48 which was outside the worst of the at-large range (42 to 46) and 15 places lower than a 15-loss Vanderbilt team that we bludgeoned. We definitely would not have gotten an at-large with another loss - even in the C-USA title game.

Truth is I hope Stansbury puts WKU in a hole it takes decades to climb out of. Every coach he 1st hired has left. He had trouble keeping staff at Miss State too, he's known to be a nasty person to his staff and players.
