YG is right that there are no divisions in basketball but if you are going to play east vs west, why the top 8? You could use the top 14 and it would be 7 to 7. Or, you could use the top 6 and it would be 3 to 3. Or the top 12 and it would be 7 to 5 in favor of the west.

One thing is for sure, CUSA at the top will be about as good as any G5. LOADED.

Who does LA Tech have on the team this season? I know that I was very impressed with your freshman point guard last season so I assume that he will be one of your starters. I believe that he was from Maryland.
Returning freshman of the year
Bracey one of the top PG in the conference
Boykins great defender and a good 3pt shooter
Jalen Harris is the one I'm most excited about we seen some great games out of him he should be able to average 18pts a game
Washington is another player to watch out for a tall slim body with a great shooting touch
Jacolby pemberton is a red shirt freshman coming off a messed up knee in high school hopefully he can fill the 4
We will be young but I feel like come conference play we will be ready for a dawg fight! I feel this conference is getting closer to putting more than 1 team into the tourney every year

I don't think there will be a major drop off this year for the MT men. Maybe not a top twenty-five caliber team, but I can see us finishing RPI Top 50, assuming the conference improves overall which... it should...

I think this year could be a good year for Cusa. With the muts playing good in the tourney last two years, it helps bring our conference image up if we can play good ooc this year (top to especially the bottom)

With some of the recruiting that Ive seen, if the coaches of each school can develop the HS players into college players I think we could put the top half up against any other non power conference and hold our own.

If the top 6 can get better and most of the lower tier improves somewhat we will all be better for it.

I really like Middle, ODU, UAB, LA Tech, Marshall and even WKUs recent recruiting classes. The rest of the conference I haven't followed up on except FIU/FAU and I think I can speak for almost everyone on here when I say I have serious reservations on if the Florida twins ever try and take basketball seriously.

I know D'Antoni is more of a teacher of the game rather than a coach. When at practice he will run a play until each player on the floor understand why its run. I see Davis at Middle, Price at Charlotte and Henson at UTSA similar in nature.

At this level if you can't teach the game and break it down then your players will probably never develop and compete with higher caliber schools. That's because most of the time we all have to take the 2 and 3 star players. And turn them into players rather than pile up the 4 and 5 star recruits.

The experts can kiss my ass. I'll stack the top half of this league up against anyone.

Wow you included WKU? What is wrong with you? Yea its hard to like a recruiting class ranked 10th nationally...WKU fans are really surprised you like our class....Not all of us have to take 2 and 3 stars...

Is this the year C-USA lives up to their potential? And gets 2+ NCAA bids.
(potential in my eyes anyway, I still feel this could be a strong league)

I agree the top half is much better than it has been for a number of years. If the bottom half can improve, it can be a 2 bid conference

Southern Miss has two transfers that will start next season. I'm told they are more talented than anyone we've had there yet under our current coach. That might improve the bottom some.

House of Cards....You will be right back where you were with Ray Harper as coach. Stansbury will jump at the 1st profile job offer he gets and this recruiting class will look exactly like Rice most likely come next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA doesn't start sniffing around your god awful Kentucky hole you call Bowling Green.

Truth is I hope Stansbury puts WKU in a hole it takes decades to climb out of. Every coach he 1st hired has left. He had trouble keeping staff at Miss State too, he's known to be a nasty person to his staff and players.

So again, I'm not really that impresse4d with WKU, said it to appease you southern western Kentucky hill jacks on here.

RE: Projected Men's Basketball Finish
We will deserve multiple bids but only get one. Until our ADs get pissed off and raise hell it will only get worse. Crap power teams will gobble up NCAA and NIT at large bids and we are being relegated to the other tournaments.

If MTSU was not getting an at large bid last year that pretty well says it all.

I suggest writing your aDs and demand they do something.
