I seriously don't see how anyone can put either FAU/FIU above 11 as long as Anthony Evans or Michael Curry is at either school. In the 4 years that Anthony Evans has been at FIU and the 3 years Michael Curry has been at FAU it clear that neither have the recruiting ties or eye for talent to compete or even win at the CUSA level.

The sad part is I don't see either school firing either coach for at least 2 more years. Mike Jarvis the previous FAU coach got 6 years and Michael Curry is going to get a 4th year with almost an identical record as Isiah Thomas who was fired in 3 years. Thomas 26-65, Curry 27-64.

FAU has 7 new players coming in this year and 6 of them are JuCos. FIU 6 new players coming in with 5 of them being JuCo.

Okay... we threw together a team at the last minute and finished 8th last year. This year we got a borderline top ten class in the country (plus some really nice transfers) and we move up... one whole spot? Sure you're not letting in your anti-WKU bias there?

Perhaps, but I think you may have problems meshing at first, seeing how you are only allowed one basketball per possession. Anyway it's just an opinion. I think it will be an interesting season for everybody. Maybe I'm counting too much on what MT has returning and who steps up, and what Kermit has in the incoming class. We'll see. I don't think anyone gets out of the regular season with less than 5 conference losses. One bid league again in 2018.

Not saying you had to pick us first or anything but I'd be shocked if we are 7th. When I get a minute to do some research I will probably pick my order (and I'll probably pick MTSU first) but 7th is pretty low for us.

Is LA Tech playing double the games and did North Texas drop basketball.

UTEP is way too undervalued in this poll. I put them first because if we had Jacorey and Reggie out of the lineup last year for MT that's the one team we would not have been able to beat without them.

Hah, so is UTSA. We went from dead last (14th in conference) to 9th in Coach Henson's first season, and most seem to think we're gonna fall back to 10th, 11th, or lower. I guess going from 5-27 (3-14) to 14-19 (8-10) in one year, with a really young team, doesn't impress anyone around here. I see us at 7th this season, and making a bigger push the following year.

I think the harder question is, who do you see UTSA finishing above to be #7? It looks like the top half (top 7) of the conference are all going to be pretty strong this season.
