Learfield Directors Cup
Points scored based on performance in NCAA post-season and bowls.

Sun Belt should have teams cracking the top 100, we've got to get better.

Little Rock the only full member to fail to score.

Most of us don't offer enough sports to really be competitive though.

AState scored in four out of 16 sports this year and two of those were flavors of men's track.

In 2013-14 the Red Wolves were 83rd and the Cajuns 86th, Cajuns were 110 the next year, Cajuns tied with USA at 117 the next year.

We are in the neighborhood, just need over the hump.
American and MWC each had 6 top 100, MAC had 3, CUSA 2, American East, Southern, OVC each had one.

Well at least App did not end up in last place of the SB football playing schools. I'll take that as a small win this year.

Idaho is showing as 4th in the Sun Belt. They are 6th in the Big Sky, where all non-football sports are played.

New Mexico State is listed with the WAC Teams, and finished 158th, easily best in the WAC

As with most cups this is usually the case.

RE: Learfield Directors Cup
Not having a conference championship must have hurt us. Oh, well.

I'll take our 19-6 conference record in football, our 35-23 conference record in men's basketball, our 52-40 conference record in baseball over a better standing in the Learfield Cup.

How many of you folks have winning Sun Belt records in all three of those sports? Probably not many... 05-stirthepot 04-cheers

Coastal does. Well, I guess we have an even record in football of 0-0.

But we have a winning record in basketball and baseball.
