On a thread on the main board, Matt97 refers to the "51st state of East Carolina". So, do y'all have any actual secession plans in mind? Where would the border be, and what would the capital be?

Seems to me, if y'all made this work, ECU could reap some sweet benefits. Right off the bat, you could have ECU as the new state's flagship university. Plus then, in Pirate fashion, you could maraud & plunder those other Carolinas.

:D

(Just trying to help boost your thread count, GrayBeard...)

Maybe you should define the border a little bit west of I-95. That way, the road is wholly within East Carolina -- and your state troopers can pick on people with NC State, Dook, or UNC stickers on their cars.

L-Mac don't act so shy. You're a Coog chick. You know you have OwlJacket give you the [Image: houstonhandsign.gif] before he gives you the [Image: ricehandsign.gif]er.

Uhhh... not really. The time he made me wear the Syracuse shirt to watch the Champs Bowl on TV (so that he could have an "opposing fan" to pick on while he was rooting for GA Tech) is about as freaky as it gets.

However, whenever I wear UH stuff (as opposed to Rice gear) he says I look hot. :D

So it seems that OwlJacket has an adversary fetish. That is real freaky.

Well, he runs Rice/UH smack on his mother-in-law too. So it's not *always* a fetish thing.

The border would have to run a little west of I-95, so that we can get my home town (Fayetteville) out from under the imperial command of the Triangle.

Greenville, of course, would be the capital.

I really don't think this is something to laugh about - it must be done!

I know this year has been a disappointment, but that is still no need to turn to mood altering drugs. :D
