High-tax Connecticut facing new budget mess

Quote:Connecticut, too, is facing big budget problems as major corporations flee the state's high taxes and its fiscal future gets murkier by the day.

Quote:Connecticut has the distinction of the third-worst ratings in the country -- behind Illinois and New Jersey.

Is it really that bad?

Illinois has over 14 billion dollars in unpaid bills. Should change their name to Venezuela.

And something like another half a Trillion (with a T) in unfunded pension obligations. Wait til those start going unpaid. They ARE Venezuela. Another socialist utopian schithole.

You're probably less likely to get shot in Venezuela because they banned guns.

Oh wait, never mind.

All bastions of conservative thought and fiscal responsibility. May they all rot in hell.

Yep, and Connecticut was an easy one to see coming. For all of their very high taxes and wealth, this last idiot governor decided to raise taxes again. Once you see the tax base fleeing the area that is overtaxing, its all over.
