The defensive end said he had an uncle or something who worked for Joe Gibbs Racing, Denny Hamlin's team (Hamlin is from Chesterfield, VA, & ironically won the race btw). They had 'Hot Passes' (garage & pit passes) for the entire race weekend, so were there for Saturday's Xfinity race in addition to Sunday's Cup race- said it was about a 45 min drive from UNH. So I talked to them for a little bit about UNH & JMU football. They seemed nice enough, though I remember the de end saying several times "I hate JMU"..I should have said you're going to hate them even more come Oct 28 lol..

I wonder if he was wanting a scholly offer from JMU, and we didn't offer him.

Possible. Rivals 2 star, shows no offers JMU. UNH bio 16 tackles for loss as a rFr- so possible future All CAA. I asked him how in the heck he ended up at up at UNH from GA- didn't hear/don't remember what he said. I just perused the UNH roster- they've got 4 kids from FL and 1 other from GA, so I guess they recruit down there in addition to the mid Atlantic. New Hampshire is a long way from the deep south...
