I was arguing with a guy on grizzly bear blues about this. He thinks the Kings front office has done a great job, and I think he is insane.

Sac signs 36 year old (in 9 days) ZBo to 2 years/$24M, 41 year old (this season) Vince to 1 year / $8M, and George Hill at 31 years old to 3 years / $57M.

Grizz sign Tyreke to 1 year / $3.3M and McLemore to 2 years / $11M.

Should be clear whose FO did a better job.

Damn, Bojan gettting paid. Wiz pulling his QO more evidence that they will match the Nets offer sheet for Otto Porter. Let's hope the Nets then go after KCP and not JMike.

Free agent Bojan Bogdanovic has agreed to a two-year, $21M deal with the Indiana Pacers, league source tells ESPN.

Bunch of restricted free agents getting extremely worried about now. No reasons for teams with cap room to wait, as soon as they get an offer sheet signed, incumbent teams only have 48 hours to match.

Stuff has happened and I'm sure more will:

- Rudy Gay to Spurs
- VC to Kings
- Olynk to Heat

Gay at the 4 Aldridge at the 5? Otherwise, why would Rudy sign somewhere where he would be backup to the 3rd best player in the league? He aint taking any minutes from Kawhi.

Rudy must've really wanted out of Sacramento. Why else would he walk away (opt out) from a $15 million deal for next season and sign for $17 million over two?

If not clear enough already, this should cement that Tony is definitely gone.

Roster at 15 now, and that is not including this year's 2 2nd rounders, Rabb and Brooks.

15 assumes we re-sign JMike.

Even as a backup Rudy would still get plenty of minutes at back 3 and 4

After an achilles tear, Gay still declined his $14.3M player option. Just crazy how bad he wanted out of Sacramento. Gay's camp is saying he'll be ready to start the season, but I doubt that.

Boston uses their MLE to sign Aaron Baynes. Bummer, I thought Boston might be the spot to unload Brandan Wright.

Free agent center Aron Baynes has reached agreement on a one-year, $4.3M deal with the Boston Celtics, league sources tell The Vertical.

Speaking of Achilles, whatever happened to Chalmers? I don't think he's back yet. Rudy is even older or at least has more years in the NBA. I just don't see how he makes much of a contribution next season.

Gay a weird signing for SA. Spurs don't like ball-stoppers, ISO players. They swing the ball around, drive and dish. Aldridge was weird too, now the Spurs want to trade him. Spurs have been making non-Spurs moves the last couple of years.

Chalmers' camp says he is 100% healthy, finally. He'll be in some team's pre-season camp for sure. Cleveland, if I had to guess. Probably looking at the vet minimum this year.

What are the Spurs doing? I like Simmons, and his QO was only $1.7M. Must be cap issues, which I don't feel like studying.

Sources: The San Antonio Spurs have renounced guard Jonathon Simmons, making him an unrestricted free agent.

If it was any other team I'd question it. But since it's the Spurs I'm going to question any team that signs him.

True. Later reports said they couldn't come to agreement, so Spurs did him a solid and made him unrestricted.
