NBA doing an awards show tonight. Kind of seems anti-climatic after the playoffs and the draft.

I'm picking Westbrook over Harden for MVP. Draymond over Kawhi & Gobert for Defensive POY. Brogdon for ROY. Coach of the Year a total guess, but I'll pick Mike D'Antoni over Brad Stephens and Pop.

You're probably right. I just couldn't pick someone who only played 31 games.

Re Coach of Year, I don't know when they voted. If the votes were immediately after the season, D'Antoni is a safer pick. If after playoffs, not so sure. Scott Brooks and Spoelstra will get some votes too.

Yeah - agreed. If not Embiid, it'll be Brogdon. Just think Embiid's name carries more weight.

Tony Allen named 2nd Team All Defense

I'd take Stephens as COY. Honestly, I think that Celtics team is hot garbage, but somehow they finished first in the East.

I love Brogdon, but I'd vote Embiid, even with the limited action. Westbrook for MVP. Draymond defensive POY.

Wish there was a way we could pay him more for veteran minimum since he made an All-NBA Team. Sort of like the super maxes Russ and Harden can sign now.
