With the status of the B12 coming down in the mid 2020s, think Wichita and the Kochs are just waiting for the right time. It may be several years to move up to FBS. Wichita St sees itself as being in Iowa States and K States league in ten years.
Ask ur self,
is WSU willing to “invest” $400 Million +
Just to restart their f-ball program
to just bring it up to AAC level?
(@ least 6-8 yr to develope)
U think, the WSU Alumni’s & Athl Dept
could put $400 million + to better use
& for more profitable ventures
There is no P5 f-ball opportunity for WSU in the future
& w/ the very real possibility
that future college f-ball TV revenue could flatline on earnings
as well as decrease in total revenues & ratings
I seriously doubt the Koch Broths
(none of them graduated from WSU)
will put that much $$$$ @ risk
as compared to putting up half of that amount
& increasing WSU B-ball stadium by another 6-8K
& getting almost immediate benefit from such a venture.
