Did Smith actually say those words - recruiting better than UofM?

That either shows total ignorance in the differences (not in Jason's case), or a total consumption in anti-Tubby fever (possible), or the need for attention (probable).

It was changing constantly for awhile, but now it seems like both Lawson's will be at East next year.

According to the Verbal Commits guy, Rivals changed the way they formatted their ratings which probably broke the composite for a couple days. [1]

I am guessing that's why CL dropped so much.
