His words unfortunately, even as wise as they are, will fall on deaf ears in certain parts of the black community. They however will be received well in the parts of the black community tired of seeing their neighbors and loved ones gunned down senselessly

Sad, but true.

When you as a community have been told by political leaders for decades that you are a victim you tend to not accept responsibility for your own actions.
