There isn't going to be any new, actual info, or movement by the Summit, for several months at best. All the likely scenarios to answer the OP have been said and repeated. And NoDak has peed in everyones' cereal enough to last a good while.

The xDSU's aren't wanted by any other conference, even in their own. But everything is so fine and dandy to them in their usual ignorance. Even the MVFC only allowed NDSU in because SDSU almost backed out of their deal. Nobody wants them, even though they have done stellar in some sports, but they choose to be ignorant and blind.

Meanwhile, the Montanas moved hell and high water to get UND and USD invites, but that move is erroneously looked at as fabricated Fullerton's folly by Big Sky cheapie fans. Big Sky fans don't think any President voted on the topic, which is total garbage.

Just trying to bring some of the posters up to the literacy rate with logic on this board.

The Western Illinois AD speaks honestly about Summit realignment without panicking their fans.

He states that IPFW is almost surely gone, Omaha is looking, and they don't have their head in the sand as far as realignment. That's pretty telling that the Summit doesn't have a future in the traditional Midwest, but the posters here will still be in denial anyway and the name calling will continue out of their gross ignorance. W Ill almost assuredly has a hot line connection to the OVC.

The one thing that can save the Summit League is Big Sky schools and sponsoring football.

OK, people other than NoDak -- is what he's describing really the state of the Summit? If so, why in the world did UND join this conference?
