RE: Bleacher report: Houston # 10 defense
I'm just as much a homer as anyone on here but even I am skeptical about that.

The report may be out there but with Orlando I would agree without (dumb freaking move!!!!) I will wait and see what D'Onofrio does. Dude got run out of Miami with the quickness.....

Seriously they couldn't get rid of him fast enough. Combined with the loss of Howard Wilson and Brian Wilson in the secondary leaves a lot of questions.

If the new D Staff benches Winchester that would be a huge step in the right direction. That guy can't cover a wet blanket...... I (for the past 2 years) got real tired of watching him get burned after burn.

We are really thin back there look no further than converting WR Isaiah Johnson into a DB. If it works out its genius (at 6' 4'') but again another story yet to be told.

The only thing I am 100% about is our D-Line of course followed by a reasonable level of confidence in our linebackers.

Bottom line our defense and how good it will be starts with D'Onofrio and goes through the secondary. That will be the tale in the end if they are good we will be good if not it's just another forgettable pre-season prediction.
