He's not likely to be on the NHL roster this season, so it's possible the Pens will let him go from the AHL.

you go to western to become a pro style player I applaud the staff in developing these young men into pro players... next man up as they say... the roster is deeper then many on this board believe

He's on an NHL contract, he's just going to be playing for an AHL team.
