Why $15? Seems to me $20 or $30 an hour would be more convincing. I guess they are trying to show how fiscally responsible they are by going for the $15 an hour. The Dems are brilliant. No doubt about it.

Yep. Think about the economic impacts on smaller towns with family owned restaurants or even cities with entrepreneurial-owned establishments. This is "Bad Outcomes 101" but libs care more about their "help everyone with government handout causes" than logically understanding or accepting long term impacts of those policies.

I have a novel idea (well not too novel, some economists have been arguing it for years): how about we get rid of the minimum wage altogether so that more unskilled people can enter the workforce and develop skills to eventually move on to better paying jobs.

Why don't they raise it to a million dollars an hour. That way we can all work a day and retire. Why this penny ante $15 an hour stuff?

If you can arbitrarily set the price in the labor market why not set it at a price that will make us all rich?

Why don't they do it in San Francisco and New York City and not bother the rest of us.
