RE: WAC basketball schedules
We would discuss NMSUs schedule if it's ever posted. Utah Valley scheduling Kentucky and Duke within 24 hours of each other is either brilliant or stupid. GCUs schedule is padding wins to give their team confidence...if they win. If they lose some of those games at home in front of the Zombie Havocs it could be a mediocre year for GCU. No trash talk but book this prediction, NMSU sweeps GCU this year.

RE: WAC basketball schedules
I'll say it again. No doubt that Chicago St. Utah Valley and UMKC will have significantly harder schedules out of conference than the rest of the league. GCU will always have the easiest. That is just what they do. Probably because they want a lot of home games. NMSU had a joke schedule last year but maybe this year will schedule tougher.

It would be nice if everyone in conference had a top 200 kenpom SOS out of conference, but sometimes teams like to rebuild with confidence wins. The problem with the wac is the bottom teams are scheduling harder than the top teams probably due to financial considerations.

NMSU had a joke schedule? IIRC, SOS is a factor in RPI and our RPI was 56. We scheduled tough but many teams on our schedule (UNM, UTEP, ASU) had down years. Who could have foreseen that? Colorado St came in second in the MW and UC Irvine was first in the BW. It's easy view things after the fact.

Ya it was 295th in Kenpom out of conference SOS. The weird thing is you got a 13 seed. In 2015 when you had 88th Out of Conference SOS you got a 15th seed.

Shortly after hosting the college 3pt/dunk contest, I heard there were very early talks about trying to get Gameday at that St. Mary's/GCU contest.

Bye bye GCU fans theory that St. Mary's and the WCC is in love with them. NMSU and everyone else in the WAC can stop fantasizing about being in a new conference cause no one else wants any of us. NMSU is not going anywhere because of it's horrible football program and UNM & Utep working behind the scenes to keep NMSU out of their conferences, GCU is rich but a for profit school and no one wants them because of their poor academic rating as well and the rest of the WAC is viewed as D2 move ups and also academic issues with regards to Bakersfield & Utah Valley.

Yeah never said anything close to that. You're delusional. You on the other hand can't stop trashing CSUB and GCU.

How about a joke for you?

Two antennae got married.
The ceremony wasn't anything special,
but the reception was GREAT!

Hope that hold you over until Aggies release the full schedule! :) 04-cheers

04-cheers I really like the wac personally if the MVC wasn't perfect for us I would never want to move. The conference had 4 teams do well in postseason play. I think with a couple additions like Denver and Oral Roberts or UCSD, this conference is legit and no one will want to leave.

Did we have an extra game or did we cancel a different one?

As far as I am aware, we had an extra contact still. Only downside I can see to this game is it comes two days after a home game so there isn't a ton of time to get ready for it.

Well it's a nice pick up. I would love for both of my teams to beat the donkeys on their home floor this year!

Boise isn't the type to buy out a game. I remember them playing at Montana and I think lmu..pretty sure they lost to Montana?

Great pick up here. Boise State only lost 3 homes games all of last year. A win there would definitely help our RPI. Go Lopes!
