HOU looking to deal...
they're trying to clear space for free agency (I would assume CP3)

They've let it be known they are open to moving Ryan Anderson, Lou Williams, and/or Patrick Beverly.

I would love for Memphis to land Lou and Beverly. Both would fill needs and be great fits!

Moving Wright and Martin could be possible, if HOU is just looking to clear cap room...

Also... Pau Gasol has declined his PO for 15.5M next year. The idea is he will re-negotiate a 3-year deal with SA at a lower annual salary. I'd love to add him...

*Ignore the messed up salary for Mark in 2020

Still leaves us with about $550k before the Luxury Tax line...

Trade James Ennis and Branden Wright to HOU for Lou Williams and Patrick Beverly.

Trade a future 2nd for late 2017 2nd round pick (Devin Robinson)

That would be a nice little team.

Lots of flexibility. Multiple guys who can play multiple positions.

Lou Williams would be instant offense off the bench. Beverly would be an instant fan favorite. Pau could close his career in the city that gave him his start, alongside his brother.

You'd still have Harrison, Baldwin, Selden, Martin, Davis, and Robinson** to develop for the future.

Pau's not leaving SA. He agreed to re-structure to give the Spurs ability to improve the team next year.

Pau will get an extra year or two, at a lower salary.

True I'm pipe dream in'

We ain't gonna pull off anything spectacular...

TA ain't signing for the vet minimum so if that's really what we are offering then that's all for him.

I think we let Green walk and resign Zach for 2 years or 3 at $7M per

I still think we keep JMike at a decent number, but I'm probably in the minority.

Restricted free agency is a pain in the butt for teams. A lot of teams don't even offer RFAs. Ties up their cap space for crucial days right at the start of free agency, and the incumbent team usually matches the offer anyway. Really limits the offers RFAs get.

True but if some team offers him $36M/3yrs on Day 1 they know we ain't matching that.
