I'm wondering why her and her aides still have security clearance. Isn't she a private citizen now?

Its so that deep state can pass her information, and not get busted for disseminating classified material to those without clearances.

Not true. I believe you keep a clearance for 5 years after your last reup. Just because she has one doesn't mean she's been in a place to use it. She's been debriefed but they don't just magically go away.

TS Clearances are good for 5 years. If she has done any consulting work since resigning from SoS, she would have needed it.

Why does she still need a security clearance?

If you have it revoked, does it make it near impossible to get it again? If so, that would exclude her from holding high office again at the least.

Not necessarily. The President doesn't have a security clearance. They don't need one...they get to see everything.

The law states that you can not hold high office where it is required.

President gets clearance for everything by virtue of us voting for them.

We could elected Gary Busey and the NSA, CIA and every other agency would be obliged to give him everything on Roswell, the Kennedy assassination, 9/11 and his own mysterious "accident".

Exactly. And she proved over and over that even while she was in the employ of the Federal Gub that she shouldn't have had one. This is nuts.
