RE: Globetrotters
AJ is perfect for them. Great athleticism and a personality to match.

I don't AJ on their roster. I wonder if he is pursuing other interests?

On his Facebook page yesterday, he responded he didn't know if he'd be on the squad that plays the FedEx Forum or not. I believe the Globetrotters have more than one team that tours the country.

Anyway, sounds like he expects a spot.

A.J.'s on the roster.

"Money" Merriweather

LOL. "East Jackson Tennessee State". No, that's so bad it's more funny than irritating. And I guess now we know that Eastern Tennessee State's sportswriting graduates are apparently more qualified than I thought to go out and write stuff for those internets.

No, he will not be. His unit will be in a different city. He actually went to twitter to encourage fans to tweet at the team's page to try and get them to change their mind and allow him to come to Johnson City.

To me, it is absolutely stupid to not have a guy play on the team when they visit their old college gym. I did not buy tickets for this reason.

Completely agree. Love the Globetrotters, but idiotic decision.

RE: Globetrotters
This time he's on this team:

A.J./"Money" coming to town

Pics of a visit to South Side school:

A.J. and teammate visit South Side

Curiously...........I think............I believe the Globetrotters date (next Wednesday), is the same day our next CIT game would be, IF we beat Wisc.-GB. But maybe that's flexible.

RE: Globetrotters
A.J. thankful for the chance NCAA tournament gave him:

A.J. dishes on how he got his pro chance

Of course we all know the story, but it's still a nice tribute.
