There is no benefit playing them in hoops. They only have two programs with marginal national cred - SDSU and UNLV. I'd prefer to challenge the A10 over MW.

Well, I know how many of the Shocker fans feel. Good to see another common ground.

And they both were dumpster fires last year. I have a feeling now that Fisher is gone, SDSU is gonna plummet.

They might but they do have a really good fan base, and that is a very tough building for visiting teams. I have no clue who replaced Fisher but that's a good job with a lot in place for success.

We can play a few games outside of a challenge. The mwc is below us.

I think I like to agree with you, KNIGHTTIME, but why waist a precious game with them when we can schedule better opponents from up North/East programs.

Props to all three schools for agreeing to play a home-and-home with us. As I'm sure is the case with WSU, it is next to impossible to get a good P5 school to sign up for that.

The PAC 12 schools are doing it to get more familiar with us so it's not so new when they invite SMU and Houston to join the PAC 16 in a few years.......I kid, I kid, maybe.

The typical MW program > the typical patsy that everyone normally plays. Some schools play more of those than others.

I'd say take the challenge.

We have gotten the Big 12 to play us Home and Home. Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma. But the Chickenhawks won't play us even in a neutral ESPN game at Sprint Center in KC.

Hmmmmm, maybe ECU should start scheduling games against MWC teams...

Supposedly LB tried like hell to get Texas to do a home-and-home but they wouldn't.

Time to act like a p6. We don't need an official challenge. Schedule them if it benefits you. No challenge....

The MW had a down year - they're not a dumpster league, though. It's good entertainment for teams outside of the top 3 in the AAC.

I'd rather do this in football, actually - the matchups would line up a whole lot better and it would end the pissing contest between the two leagues.

Also, let's be honest - if the AAC makes it in to the "new top tier" people are taking about, then the MW will as well. I kind of see the MW and AAC unhappily attached at the hip.
